Im Schulunterricht haben Lehrer Mühe mit der Motivation ihrer Schüler, weil alle verschiedenen Interessen nachgehen. Der eine interessiert sich für Fußball, der andere für Handball und der dritte vielleicht für den nächsten Urlaub mit seinen Eltern. Zur Zeit haben wir jedoch fast alle nur ein Problem. Das heißt: „Wie besiegen wir die Corona-Epidemie?“ Wird uns das durch Isolierung und Impfungen gelingen?

Wahl des Themas in der Schule

Den Lehrern wird vorgeschreiben, was sie zu unterrichten haben. Das gilt für alle Schulformen, Hochschulen und Universitäten. Allerdings erwartet man von einem guten Lehrer, dass er den Lehrstoff verständlich darlegt. Außerdem wünschen sich Schüler wie auch Studenten eine motivierende Darstellung der Lehrinhalte. Daher sind aktuelle Themen gefragt wie Neuerungen der Forschung, die uns Menschen das Arbeitsleben angenehmer gestalten.

Wahl des Themas in der Kirche

Die Wahl des Predigtthemas stellt eine besondere Herausforderung dar. In den großen Volkskirchen wird dem Pfarrer oftmals die Wahl abgenommen. Der Kalender bestimmt, welche Bibelstelle zu betrachten ist. Dieser Kalender hat leider noch keine Themen für eine Corona-Epidemie vorgesehen, soweit mir bekannt ist. In den sog Freikirchen wählt in der Regel der Prediger das Thema seines Vortrages aus. Dadurch ist es ihm möglich, sein Thema den momentanen Bedürfnissen anzupassen. Doch seine Themenwahl ist ebenfalls nicht leicht. Eigentlich sollte er momentan über das Thema „Corona-Epidemie“ sprechen. Ebenso aktuell ist das Thema Ukraine-Konflikt. Ältere Prediger haben vielleicht schon in ihrer Jugend Massenansteckungen miterlebt. Doch können sie Manusskrippte früherer Kollegen nutzen? Wären die wirklich aktuell?
Propheten im alten Israel erhielten Botschaften von ihrem Gott Jaweh zu den aktuellen gesellschaftlichen Problemen. Bevor das Desaster kam, konnten sie Lösungen anbieten. So z.B. zur Zeit des Propheten Elia (1.Könige 17). Letzterer sagte eine Dürre voraus, die auch tatsächlich eintrat. Doch heute scheint es lediglich Propheten und Prophetinnen unter den Kindern zu geben, die in der Bewegung „Friday-for-future“ die Zeichen der Zeit erkennen. Weder die Autobauer, die Betreiber der Fluglinien noch bemerkten die meisten Prediger der Landeskirchen wie auch der katholischen Volkskirchen nicht, dass es so wie bisher nicht weitergehen konnte.
Selbst wenn Prediger den Blick für kommende Gefahren gehabt und vor ihnen gewarnt haben sollten, dann hätten es Politiker und Wirtschaftsbosse nicht erfahren, da sie in der Regel nicht im GD zu finden sind.
Für einen Laienprediger stellt sich die Frage: „Welchen biblische Bericht des AT oder des NT sollte ich für meine Gemeinde auswählen?“ Das wird sich so mancher schon gefragt haben, der sich auf seinen Dienst hinter der Kanzel vorbereitete. Es liegen ihm keine Richtlinien vor wie in der Schule, die ihm sagen könnten, was seine Predigt behandeln sollte. Für den hauptamtlichen Pastor der Gemeinde ist das Problem am leichtesten zu lösen. Schließlich kennt er fast jedes Mitglied der Gemeinde persönlich und weiß, was dieses an Trost, Hilfe und Unterweisung benötigt. Aber selbst er ist heute im Januar 2021 hilflos. Die GD sind bei uns in Ost-Westfalen-Lippe untersagt. Weder darf gesungen noch gepredigt werden. Der Beschluss der Hiddenhauser Stefanusgemeinde, alle Kirchen der Großgemeinde trotzdem am Sonntagmorgen zu öffnen, brachte kaum Protestanten in die Gotteshäuser. In Gebieten, welche überwiegend katholisch geprägt sind, hätte dieser Beschluss durchaus Erfolg haben können. Katholiken sind gewohnt, in ihren Kirchen zu beten. Allerdings sind auch diese momentan außerhalb der GD geschlosse – da immermehr teuere Einrichtungen gestohlen werden.

Da hilft nur das Gebet!

Das „Vater-Unser“ haben wir Alteingesessenen schon in der Jugend gelernt. Es wir auch in den Landeskirchen in fast jedem GD im Plenum gesprochen. Aber sollte das wirklich alles sein, was dem Christen gelehrt wurde? In katholischen Kirchen beten fromme Menschen still ihre persönlichen Gebete in den offenen Kirchen. Viele protestantische Kirche bringen mittlerweile auch ihren Mitgliedern das Beten bei, allerdings auf eigentümliche Art und Weise, so wie ich es in einer Veranstaltung für „Männerarbeit“ kennengelernt habe: Der Pastor formulierte ein Führbitten – Gebet. Die Leien in seiner Nähe setzen nachträglich die Namen der Personen ein, auf die sich dieses Gebet konkret beziehen möge. Immerhin bildet diese Methode einem Einstieg in das persönliche Gebet.
Im Volksmund hörte man nach dem verlorenen Zweiten Weltkrieg den Weisheitsspruch: „Not lehrt Beten!“ Wer in Todesnot geraten war und glaubte, die Kathastrophe noch abwenden zu können, der betete so, dass ihm „nichts mehr einfiel“. Das ist auch so ein alter Spruch aus meiner Jugendzeit. Das bedeutete damals Folgendes: Du betest nicht mit verständlichen Worten, sondern„seufzt“. Das meint nicht, dass du zum Alkohol greifen mögest. Dieses Wort ist hingegen abgeleitet vom Hauptwort „Seufzer“. Heute würde man sagen: „Der Beter weint und schreit – ohne sinnvolle Worte von sich zu geben!“ Theologen würden sagen: Er redet in Zungen ohne Auslegung. Das sollten wir aber nur praktizieren, wenn wir alleine sind. Im Plenum ist es nach der Lehre des Appostel Paulus nur erlaubt, wenn jemand aus der versammelten Gemeinde auslegen kann, d.h., seine Bedeutung in der Muttersprache der anwesenden Gemeinde darlegen kann. (1.Korinther 14) Diese Sprache ist ganz „aus der Mode“ gekommen und ihre Fachausdrücke finden wir in der Regel nur noch in den Bibelübersetzungen der Pfingstbewegung. Aber wie man auch immer zu beten pflegt, so gilt ganz gewiss: Wer aufrichtig um Hilfe bittet, der wird erhört. Ich selber habe es so erfahren. Gott segne Sie!!!

L’un s’intéresse au football, l’autre au handball et le troisième peut-être pour les prochaines vacances avec ses parents. Pour le moment, cependant, nous n’avons presque tous qu’un seul problème. Cela signifie: «Comment vaincre l’épidémie corona?» Réussirons-nous l’isolement et les accessions?

Choix de la matière à l’école

Les enseignants apprennent quoi enseigner. Cela s’applique à tous les types d’écoles, collèges et universités. Cependant, on s’attend à ce qu’un bon enseignant explique la matière d’une manière compréhensible. De plus, les élèves et étudiants souhaitent une présentation motivante du contenu pédagogique. Par conséquent, des sujets d’actualité sont demandés tels que les innovations dans la recherche qui rendent notre vie professionnelle plus agréable pour nous humains.

Choix du sujet à l’église

Le choix du sujet du sermon est un défi particulier: dans les grandes églises populaires, le pasteur est souvent privé du choix. Le calendrier détermine quel passage biblique doit regarder. Malheureusement, ce calendrier n’a pas encore fourni de sujets pour une épidémie de corona, pour autant que je sache. Dans les églises privates les prédicateurs choisissent eux-mêmes le sujet de leur service de culte. Mais ce choix n’est pas non plus facile. En fait, il devrait parler du sujet de „l’épidémie corona“ pour le moment.
Les prédicateurs plus âgés peuvent avoir vis une contagion de masse dans leur jeunesse. Mais est-ce qu‘ exister des manuscrits d’anciens collègues? – Les prophètes de l’ancien Israël ont reçu des messages de leur dieu Jaweh avant la catastrophe. Par exemple, à l’époque du prophète Élie (1 Rois 17). Ce dernier a prédit une sécheresse qui s’est effectivement produite. Mais aujourd’hui, il semble n’y avoir que des prophètes parmi les enfants qui reconnaissent les signes des temps et proclament leur manifestation en mouvement du «vendredi pour l’avenir». Ni les constructeurs automobiles ni les compagnies aériennes n’ont remarqué que les choses ne pouvaient plus continuer comme avant. La pensée concurrentielle combinée à la volonté de dominer le marché a assombri leur vision de l’essentiel, même si même les enfants mineurs pourraient le reconnaître, comme ils l’avaient montrés.
Dans les régions à prédominance catholique, cette décision aurait pu être couronnée de succès. Les catholiques ont l’habitude de prier dans leurs églises – même en dehors des services religieux. Par conséquent, leurs lieux de culte sont souvent ouverts en semaine.
Pour un prédicateur laïc, la question se pose: «Quel récit biblique de l’Ancien Testament ou de nouveau Testament dois-je choisir pour ma congrégation?» Beaucoup de personnes qui se préparaient pour son service derrière la chaire auront demandé cela. Il n’a aucune directive, comme il le fait à l’école, sur ce que son sermon devrait couvrir. Le problème est le plus facile à résoudre pour le pasteur à plein temps de l’église. Après tout, il connaît personnellement presque tous les membres de la communauté et sait de quel réconfort, aides et instructions ils ont besoin. Mais même lui est impuissant aujourd’hui en janvier 2021. Les DG sont interdits ici à East Westphalia-Lippe. Il est interdit de chanter ou de prêcher. La décision du Hiddenhauser „Stefanusgemeinde“ d’ouvrir de toute façon toutes les églises de la grande congrégation le dimanche matin, a amené les protestants dans les églises à peine.

Seule la prière peut aider

Nous, résidents de longue date, avons appris «le prière à notre père» dans notre jeunesse. Il est également parlé en plénière dans presque tous les services des églises régionales. Mais est-ce vraiment tout ce que le chrétien a appris? Dans les églises catholiques, les personnes pieuses prient tranquillement leurs prières personnelles dans les églises ouvertes. De nombreuses églises protestantes apprennent maintenant à leurs membres à prier, quoique d’une manière particulière, comme je l’ai appris lors d’un événement nomé «le travail entre des hommes religieuses». Le pasteur a formulé une prièr generale. Les autres personnes de son groupe insèrent ensuite les noms des personnes auxquelles cette prière peut se référer spécifiquement. Cette méthode est une belle introduction à la prière personnelle. Bravo!
On entendait ce dicton vernaculaire après la Seconde Guerre mondiale : «Le besoin enseigne la prière!» Quiconque était dans une situation désespérée et pensait pouvoir encore éviter la catastrophe pria a la manière «rien ne leur vienne plus à l’esprit». C’est aussi un vieux dicton de ma jeunesse. À l’époque, cela signifiait ce qui suit: Vous ne priez pas avec des mots compréhensibles, mais „soupir“. Cela ne signifie pas que vous devriez recourir à l’alcool. Ce mot, cependant, est dérivé du substantif «soupir». Aujourd’hui, on dirait: «Celui qui prie pleure et hurle sans prononcer des paroles significatives!» Les théologiens diraient: Il parle en „langues“ sans interprétation.
Nous ne devrions pratiquer cela que lorsque nous sommes seuls. Selon l’enseignement de l’Appostel Paul, elle n’est autorisée en plénière que si quelqu’un de la congrégation assemblée peut l’interpréter, c’est-à-dire peut expliquer sa signification dans la langue maternelle de la congrégation présente. (1 Corinthiens 14) Cette langue est devenue complètement «démodée» et nous ne pouvons généralement trouver ses termes techniques que dans les traductions bibliques du mouvement pentecôtiste. Mais quelles que soit la manière dont on prie, une chose est sûre: si vous demandez sincèrement de l’aide, vous serez entendu. Je l’ai vécu de cette façon moi-même. Dieu vous bénisse!!!

After all, he knows almost every member of the community personally and knows what topic would helping and instructing they need. But even he is helpless while the epidemic is going on. The crowding of people are prohibited here in East Westphalia-Lippe. It is not allowed to sing or to preach in front of a crowd of people. The decision of our Parish to open all churches at Sonday morning brought only a few Protestants into the churches. In areas that are predominantly Catholic, this decision would have been more successful because for Catholics it is a coustom to pray in their churches – even outside of church services. Therefore, their churches are open during the week in general.

Only Prayer May Help

After the Second-Wold-War you could hear the saying: “Need teaches prayer!” Those who were in dire straits and believing to be able to avert the personel catastrophe prayed in the manner as if nothing more occurred to them. This is also an old saying. It means the following: You do not pray with understandable words, but „sigh“. That doesn’t mean that you should resort to alcohol. This word, however, is derived from the term “sighing”. Today one would say: “The person who prays cries and screams – without uttering meaningful words!” Theologians would say: He speaks in tongues without translation or interpretation. We should only practice this when we are alone according to the teaching of Appostel Paul. In the plenary it is only allowed if someone from the assembled congregation is able to interpret it. That means that speaking in tongues is only allowed if someone of the presend gathering is able to explain the meaning in the mother tongue of the congregation. (1 Corinthians 14) This language has gone completely „out of fashion“ today and we can usually find its technical terms in the Bible translations of the Pentecostal Church. But no matter how one prays, one thing is certain: Those who sincerely ask for help will be heard. I experienced it by myself. God bless you all!
